Executive Director
As Executive Director of the Prevention and Treatment Center, I am honored to continue our commitment to serving youth and families in our communities. Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment where young people can develop the skills, confidence, and positive behaviors needed to make better choices and build successful futures.
I am proud of our dedicated staff and grateful for the continued support of our community partners, families, board members, and the Wayne and Lenoir County Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the young people we serve.

Why This Work Matters to Me
My passion for programs like the Structured Day Program is rooted in both personal experience and professional mission. I’ve seen firsthand—through my work as a teacher, and assistant director of Structured Day / Prevention and Treatment Centers —how structure, mentorship, and targeted intervention can completely change the trajectory of a young person’s life.
As someone who grew up in a tight-knit community, I understand how systems can either support or fail our youth. I’m committed to ensuring we provide every young person with the tools, guidance, and environment they need to make better choices and become productive, empowered members of our community. I believe deeply in second chances—and in building bridges, not barriers, to opportunity.
